Rama Punarvasu Raganeerajanam October 2016:
Nadaneerajanam at Tirumala was the inspiration behind Sri Rama Punarvasu Raga Neerajanam, which is being conducted by the Alivelu Manga Sarvaiah Charitable Trust an Punarvasu star every month at Bhadrachalam.
On every Punarvasu star day, Navaratna Keerthanas are sung by taking giri pradakshina early in the morning. Artists and bhajana groups from all corners of the country are invited, One group every month and their performance is arranged in the main shine. The trust organizes the accompaniment for these performances and honors the artists with a certificate of Participation and Prasadam. The invited artists are also given accommodation and food free of cost at a guest house at Bhadrachalam.
Few centers where workshops are organized by the trust throughout the various districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have come forward and volunteered tuned to organize group singing of Navaratna Keerthanas at temples close by them. Their job is commendable. They also send the pictures of the gost’s ganam every month and these are uploaded to our website.
584 Uthsavam:
Alivelu Manga Sarvaiah Charitable Trust has been successfully conducting Bhadrachala Ramadas pray Uktha vaggeyakara uthsavam successfully for the past decade. The upcoming uthsavam on 31st January to 4th February 2017 is our eleventh year of celebration.
The uthsavam started in a small way where we had a couple of performances. Gradually with the blessing of lord Seeta Ramachandra Swamy and the desire of Sri Nedunuri Gurvu Garu to perform a group singing in similar lines with Thyagaraja Pancharatnams at Tiruvaiyar, added colors to the Uthsavam, motivated by Sri Nedunuri Gari ambition, the trust took up the project on a large scale inviting the enthusiastic artists from all corners of India and abroad and started organizing lot of slots big and small and encouraging even the amateurs. The participants are increasing in numbers every year and we consider ourselves as chosen ones in leading this event.
